Късно снощи органите на реда проведоха специализирана акция в хотел „Ертанком“ в Благоевград, по сигнал за организирана проституция и сводничество. Според неофициална информация действията на полицията са стартирали след подаден сигнал за незаконна дейност, развивана в обекта, представян като семеен хотел.

По време на операцията са извършени претърсвания и процесуално-следствени действия. Гостите на хотела са били изведени, а няколко жени, за които се предполага, че са предлагали сексуални услуги срещу заплащане, са били задържани и отведени за разпит в Районното управление на МВР.
Освен в хотела, проверки са били извършени и в още две частни жилища в града, като разследването по случая продължава под надзора на компетентната прокуратура.
Очаква се по-късно органите на реда да излязат с официална информация относно резултатите от акцията, броя на задържаните лица и евентуално повдигнати обвинения.
