Министерството на регионалното развитие и благоустройството изплати 2 823 570 лв. на Община Благоевград по пет искания за първи и междинни плащания. Средствата са за извършени дейности по улиците „Свети Иван Рилски“, „Аргир Манасиев“, „Иларион Макариополски“ в карето зад Операта, както и по ул. „Стефан Стамболов“. С полученото финансиране Общината започва разплащане с изпълнителите, което деблокира процеса по довършването на улиците.

Ремонтните дейности се бяха забавили заради липсващи плащания по програмата, а промени в Закона за държавния бюджет не позволиха на Общината да поеме заем за авансово финансиране.
До момента по обектите са подменени старите водопроводни и канализационни тръби, което ще намали честите аварии и наводнения в мазета на жилищни сгради. Предстои полагане на два слоя асфалт, довършване на тротоарите и поставяне на хоризонтална маркировка и вертикална сигнализация.
Паралелно се подготвя ново искане за междинно плащане за дейности по ул. „Иван Вазов“ и „Иван Рилски“.
Община Благоевград има одобрени 72 обекта по инвестиционната програма на МРРБ за подобряване на градската среда. За 18 от тях вече са подадени искания и се очакват авансови плащания.
Сред обектите са:
- ремонт и реконструкция на ВиК мрежи на ул. „Захари Стоянов“, „Арсений Костенцев“, „Гьорче Петров“, „Сава Михайлов“, „Антим I“ и „Христо Чернопеев“;
- благоустрояване на междублокови пространства в кварталите 114, 116, 117, 133, 134 и 175;
- изграждане на ул. „Здраве“ в IV микрорайон;
- реконструкция на спортни площадки в с. Изгрев и жк „Струмско“;
- изграждане на пристройка и авариен изход към детски градини.
Реалното изпълнение на тези проекти ще започне веднага след превеждането на авансите от МРРБ.
