При обиск в дома му в квартал „Дълбошица“ органите на реда открили над 50 грама висококачествен кокаин, електронна везна и пособия за разфасоване и подготовка на наркотика за разпространение. Намерени били и близо 100 000 лева в брой, за които предстои да се установи произходът.
Петър К. не е непознат за системата – той вече е изтърпявал ефективна присъда в Гърция за трафик на наркотици. След завръщането си в България името му многократно е било свързвано с разпространение на дрога в региона на Петрич и Сандански.
Разследването по случая продължава под надзора на прокуратурата. Очаква се на задържания да бъдат повдигнати обвинения за държане и разпространение на наркотични вещества в особено големи размери.
Местната полиция отчете акцията като сериозен успех в борбата с организираната престъпност, но призна, че предстои още работа за ограничаване на наркопазара в региона.
