Една от най-заплетените криминални истории в България продължава да буди въпроси повече от десетилетие след дръзкия обир на инкасов автомобил в Пловдив. Георги Енев, по-известен като Жоро Милионера, задигна 1,5 милиона лева посред бял ден, без нито един изстрел. След като излежа присъдата си, той изчезна без следа – и никой не знае дали в момента харчи пачки в чужбина, или лежи заровен някъде край Асеновград.

Историята започва през юни 2012 г. – Енев, бивш рейнджър, използва хладнокръвието си и „гениално прост“ план. Докато неговият колега слиза да купи дюнери, той натоварва торбите с пари в личния си „Опел Кадет“ и изчезва. След 10 дни на пълно мълчание сам се предава – носи само четка и паста за зъби, но нито лев от плячката.
През годините полицията прави какви ли не опити да го разговори – внедрява съкилийници под прикритие, разпитва го безброй пъти, дори психолози и свещеници опитват да стигнат до тайната. Напразно. Милионера пази мълчание и зад решетките е примерен затворник. Никога не издава къде е скрил парите.
През април тази година Енев излиза от затвора. Без предсрочно освобождаване, без шум. Просто си прибира личните вещи и преминава портала – след което се губи без следа. Оттогава никой не го е виждал.
Версиите са две. Според едни, Жоро е зад граница – с нова самоличност, нов живот и милион, който го чака закопан някъде. Други обаче вярват в мрачния сценарий – че криминални среди са го намерили, измъчвали са го, за да разкрие тайника, след което са го ликвидирали.
Легендите за мястото на скривалището не секват – манастирите около Асеновград, изоставени къщи, гори край града… но нито едно от предположенията не води до откритие.
Така Жоро Милионера остава загадка – човек, който открадна милион и половина с ум, а не с оръжие. Днес той е или свободен богаташ в сянка, или погребан заедно със своята тайна.
Къде е истината – в паспорт с ново име или в безименен гроб?
